....to make anything that requires the measurement of halves or fourths.
Out of the many sets of measuring cups I have had over the years, this is all that remains. And that is including the three liquid measuring cups that have disappeared in recent months.
Two 1 cups and three 1/3 cups....
Out of four sets of cups, there are no 1/2 or 1/4 cups? What is the probability of that (statisticians...?)
I'm sure they are hiding with the gloves and the socks.

That's hilarious!
I think my husband and I are usually to blame for the demise of our measuring cups. I left one sitting on a fondue pot burner (which was still plugged in) and one of my kids turned it on. I was so glad I discovered it (by the smell of melting plastic) before anyone got burned! I think we tend to lose the 1c more than anything else.
Well, of course they're hiding with the gloves and the socks...that's a much funner place to be than hanging out with the cutlery....
I am glad to see that it is not just in my house that these things disappear...HINT: Check the garden~
Speaking of cooking devices- I think I am taking over your cooking blog. I've been dying to get my recipes organized somewhere. I thought this would be a good excuse to get me to right them down. But pretty soon I'm gonna have too many recipes on their I think!
You can never have too many recipes on there. That is what it's for. And yeah, it is a good place to put things. Youcan print them off if you want a binder of recipes. but they will always be on there. Maybe when we get enough, we can print a blog book of recipes! Thanks!
